Help Support Our Youth and Family Services During Our 2021 Spring Gala
Cumberland Youth and Family Services is proud to announce our inaugural Hats & Horses for Healing & Hope Gala. We have been working diligently on this Kentucky Derby inspired event with the local community in order to provide a wonderful experience for all involved. We invite you to join us in-person or virtually to support our youth and family services at an event that is sure to get your pulses racing. Here is everything you need to know about the Gala:
How to Attend the Event
Currently, we have about 10 tickets available for purchase to attend our inaugural Gala in-person, but anyone is welcome to attend the event virtually for free. We welcome all who wish to join the fun to secure their tickets by texting Cumberlandderby21 to 76278. For those unable to attend in-person, we will be streaming the event virtually with all of the same fun and excitement. You can participate in our online trivia and bid on auction items just the same.

Time: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for VIP Members, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. General Admission

In Support of Our Youth and Family Services
Cumberland is one of the nicest places many of our residents have lived, and we want to keep it that way for the foreseeable future. In order to ensure that we can provide the best possible care for our residents, we need your help raising $20,000 in donations from the event. We provide our residents with the above-and-beyond care they need in order to live happy, healthy lives. We are on a mission to ensure that we are always able to provide the best for each of our residents.
All gala donations will support the Cumberland Youth and Family Services Annual Fund, which supports all aspects of our programs and services. The Annual Fund makes it possible for us to fund everything from normal adolescent activities for our residents, from outings and extracurricular activities to emergency funding for a mom who needs a new professional outfit for an interview. It gives us the flexibility we need to be creative and adaptable as needs arise.
Bringing the Kentucky Derby to Texas
At our Gala, we will be hosting a wide variety of thrilling activities inspired by the Kentucky Derby. Join us for a Hat & Bowtie Contest, a fabulous auction and an evening of Derby-themed fun benefiting our youth and family services. You can celebrate the occasion with fun activities such as cornhole and ladder toss or unwind with a derby-inspired food and drink menu.
Live and Silent Auction
We will also be hosting two auctions, both live and silent, in order to help raise money for our youth and family services. You can attend the auctions both in-person or online to bid on community-donated items that are sure to have guests racing for top bid. We are proud to offer a wide assortment of valuable items and experiences - potentially at a fraction of their cost.
