Cumberland Youth and Family Services, formerly known as Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home, is proud to invite you to our second annual Hats & Horses for Healing & Hope gala! Our team and community have been working on our Kentucky Derby-inspired gala in order to provide the best experience possible for all who attend. Here’s everything you need to know about how you can support our spring gala, organization and residents:

Supporting Our Youth and Family Services
Our goal is to raise $120,000 to provide as many youth in foster care, young adults aging out of foster care and vulnerable, single-parent families with the support they need to heal and a safe place to call home. We believe that no one should be defined by their past, their abuse, neglect or their trauma. Everyone deserves a chance to learn, grow and succeed.

This year, the gala will feature more interactive stations that will help guests learn more about the extent of the problems our residents face and why your support is so crucial. The gala will feature several educational opportunities this year as well as a wide variety of games and specialty auction events. Guests can expect a night filled with fun, Kentucky Derby-inspired food, drinks and entertainment.

A Chance to Win Your Next Vacation
This year, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a “Golden Ticket” raffle for a vacation package to one of five select locations. Among our auction items, we also have a chance to win a trip to beautiful Napa Valley, the use of a Galveston beach house that sleeps 15 and a Kentucky Bourbon trail vacation. Many of our favorite local restaurants and retail stores have donated auction items as well. There’s something for everyone!
